SIMPLY CHRISTIANS
An unwavering commitment to God’s word
A genuine love for each other
A passion for sharing the gospel
It’s All About Jesus
If you want to find out more about the St James church of Christ you can click the About Us button above. It will tell you about our commitments, beliefs, and organization. It will give you an idea what to expect when you visit one of our assemblies or Bible studies.
But this website doesn’t exist just to tell you “about us.” It’s all about Jesus! He is the Head and we are His body. He is the Shepherd and we are His flock. He is the King and we are His kingdom. So we have nothing of true value to offer you outside of what Jesus has first given to us - the gospel - the good news of eternal salvation.
What Jesus has to offer is more valuable than anything in this world. He offers us true purpose, imperishable hope, unshakable peace, unending joy, and the restoration of a loving relationship with the God who made us. More than anything, that is what we want to share with you. Will you give us that opportunity?

These preachers of the restoration movement in ancient Israel remind us to put first things first. Their words motivate us to get to work rebuilding God’s holy temple among us today. We do this, not with gold, silver, or stone, but with the “living stones” of the souls which make up His church (1 Pet 2:4-5).

This letter was written to unite Jew and Gentile believers in their common experience of the gospel. Wherever we’ve come from… whatever our ethnicity, background, or previous experiences… we all need the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ. We are all called to walk by faith in order to experience the transforming power of God’s grace. We need this transforming and unifying message today just as much as they did then.
